In a move that shocks the #BeADude Movement, the undefeated Women’s hockey team has announced a merger into the BC Eagles football team for the upcoming 2015 Season. A spokesperson for the women’s team stated that they were “Tired of destroying everyone” and “Needed a new challenge to keep them conditioned and in prime form for the future”.

The change in dynamic has already been immediate. ESPN has stopped talking about balls finally as the Women’s Movement has arrived in the national spotlight, and the AP Poll has already moved Boston College into the #1 spot for the upcoming football season, with hopes in place for an undefeated season. When asked if they were too hasty because the girls “Don’t know how to play football at a college level” and “are a foot and a half smaller than the competition” The AP responded “We’ve talked to the thirty fans that dot the rink when they play and the stories we’ve heard are enough to prove that BC has what it takes to win the National Title next year. I mean, not losing in 25 games? That’s great talent no matter the sport.  Yes we know they’re playing some tough teams, but these lovely ladies are sure to pull out straight W’s!”

Head Football Coach Jeeves A. Daddio released a statement today to the press saying “It’s truly an honor to have these spectacular athletes here on this program. They bring with them an attitude, and a vigor that football team, and school as a whole, needs. We’re hoping to utilize their strength and agility that they exhibit on the ice, and put it out there on the turf.”

BC Player Haley Skatechupa sent out a tweet saying, “I may not be used to cleats, but I bet I can slap shot a few field goals in if they ever need me out there! #BeADudette” BC fans were asked for their opinion on the news, but most seemed not only to have not have heard about the news but to have also not known about the Women’s hockey undefeated season in general.
