IGNACIO HALL After an unforgettable four days in tropical Punta Cana, Senior Ema Barrased (LSOE ’22), was met with the opportunity of a lifetime upon her return to chestnut hill– reliving her senior year of high school.

On the second night of Barrased’s spring break vacation, her eyes caught a glimpse of a tall, handsome young lad in the corner of the room. The man in question was Hugh G. Regret, a current Senior at Newton North High School. Barrased confessed, “We just started talking about where we were from and how we were liking Punta and he mentioned he was a senior from just outside Boston. My mind just assumed he was a senior at BC!”

Barrased continued, “I asked him where he was living, as one does when they meet a fellow Eagle, and when he said ‘I live in Newton,’ I just assumed he had the worst housing pick time known to man!”

Barrased explained that after one thing led to another, they were tongue deep in a steamy exchange in the middle of the bar.

After the intimate exchange, the couple exchanged snapchats and returned to their daily lives, sending “streaks” once daily. However, this all changed this past Sunday when Barrased received a blue snapchat notification from Regret, containing: “Hey shawty, long time no see. I know it’s been a minute but our moment together was electric. Soo, Prom?” Barrased accepted, assuming it was the annual Newton Campus prom, but the truth came out when Regret asked to be Barrased’s “Eagle-For-A-Day” partner.

At press time, Barrased was seen looking at limousine rentals and cringing at the thought of moshing to Cascada’s “Everytime We Touch.”
