THAT FIELD ON THE PLEX GRAVEYARD — The student body of Boston College has been positively feral recently. With relatively warm temperatures, sunny blue skies, and seemingly unlimited access to lawn games, everyone has been taking advantage of the changing of the seasons.
The peak of this excitement occurred this weekend, with the most anticipated event of the season: Boys. Wearing. Shorts.
When questioned about this monumental occasion, Lesdoa Caserace (MCAS ‘21) said, “I looked down at my phone for one, maybe ten minutes, and when I looked back up—boy legs. Boy legs everywhere. I had never seen so many hairy calves in one place. And don’t get me started on those thighs. The way boy’s shorts show just a little sliver of thigh. . . dreamy.”
When asked what he thought about this tantalizing development, Jayden LaFadin (CSOM ‘22) said, “Huh? I literally didn’t notice. Why would I care about boys wearing shorts? It’s warm outside, of course they’re wearing shorts. Are you really interviewing me for this? Don’t you guys have anything better to do?”
At press time, Caserace was seen taking a sudden interest in observing spikeball games.
