Women’s Hockey Beats Stonehill 17-0, Men’s Hockey Gifted Lululemon Sweat Sets
Sports October 7, 2026 The New England Classic
CONTE FORUM — This past weekend, the Boston College Hockey program saw incredible and historic successes across all programs. The women’s team set a new record for the largest margin of victory in NCAA history with a dominant 17-0 win over the Stonehill Skyhawks. To a similar magnitude, the men’s team beat the Under-18 United States National Team Development Program Team 10-1.
To celebrate this historic weekend of redefining what it means to be a dominant women’s athlete, and making pre pubescent teens cry, both teams have been rewarded by the athletic departments, at amounts proportional to the level of success they demonstrated.
Therefore, the men’s team received custom embroidered sweat sets from Lululemon, each with their silly little nicknames, numbers, and star signs on the sleeves and the hoods. The equipment room was inspired by Macklin Celebrini’s ultra masculine hockey x Lulu collaboration, which was dropped by the company on September 28th.
In the spirit of Title IX, the women’s team received three whole BC Dining pizzas, served as they are best consumed: lukewarm and two days old. To comment on the athletics department’s reaction to their success, The New England Classic interviewed women’s hockey manager Jenna Unenlypissed to gain some insight on the team’s reaction to their recognition. Unenlypissed shared that “The girls are pretty upset that the pizza wasn’t even warm, other than that we’re more Alo girls anyways.”
At press time, Dean Letourneau was seen wearing his set and eating BC Dining pizza that looked suspiciously warm.
