GASSON QUAD — On Wednesday, students walking across the quad witnessed a first-of-its-kind protest here on campus: Republicans protesting their midterms. With their signs, bullhorns, and delusion they chanted “STOP THE COUNT” and held up signs that said “SLEEPY BUY” in reference to their professor Buy Den. The students were protesting their finite probability midterm because of discrepancies in how their grades were counted. These students are claiming that they did not fail their midterm and that instead their professor, with a PhD in Mathematics, can not count.

One protestor, Lesgo Brandon (MCAS 26), made his opinions known about the grading fraud conspiracy. “It’s all a big lie, my grade. I would never score that low unless it was totally rigged against me,” he said.

Fellow protestor Jewel E. Awnee (CSOM 25) added, “How do we know that he can actually count? Have you seen his degree? Because I haven’t.”

The claims of grading fraud are due to the protestors’ collective average being 53% while the class average was 85%. On one question the students miscalculated the answer by around 7,060,140 and on another they miscounted an answer 306 to 232.

The Classic obtained a tweet from student Don Ald (CSOM 26) that said: “There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that this midterm is anything but substantially fraudulent. Serious grading fraud at Boston College – so why isn’t The Heights reporting on this? Serious bias – big problem!”

At press time, protestor Dean Santus (LSOE 25) was overheard saying, “Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure, it’s not your fault.”
