Happy For Him: The Guy That Left Us a Year Ago Is Experiencing Great Success
INDIANAPOLIS, IN — The 11-seed UCLA Bruins punched their ticket to the NCAA Final Four with a shocking upset over Michigan this week. Celebrating in the stands was Martin Jarmond, UCLA’s athletic director and the curator of the Martin Jarmond Collection™ once seen in the BC Bookstore.
Jarmond has been lauded for his success at UCLA, having left Boston College for the job last May. A national title could secure his standing as one of the best athletic directors in the nation.
We really couldn’t be more happy for Martin. We enjoyed the time we had together, and trust us, there is no bad blood between us. Everything happens for a reason, right? We have been taking this opportunity to focus on ourselves and it has been really rewarding.
Of course, there are subtle reminders of him all around campus, but honestly those don’t even affect us anymore. Now that we think about it, it was for the best. I mean if it was meant to be, it was meant to be, right? We have been having SO much fun without him and have found ourselves drinking a lot more lately – it’s not alcoholism if you’re in college, right?
We barely even watched the game on Tuesday. We checked in for two seconds, because we like sports, but honestly didn’t really care. We really couldn’t care less about what Martin’s up to these days.
We have totally moved on. We have Pat Kraft now, who I have heard is both real and exists. I’ve even heard spooky rumors about him walking around Conte late at night. While there have yet to be any confirmed sightings, I am pretty sure we have an athletic director.
We wish Martin the best this weekend! But honestly, we couldn’t care less if he wins or not. Seriously, we are doing great.
