Hahaha: Kid Puts “Sit Here” Sticker On Face
STOKES SOUTH — Local funny guy Chuck Meyer (MCAS ’23) made some people laugh late Tuesday afternoon when he unpeeled a “sit here” sticker and put it on his face. Meyer came up with the bit while he was high.
The stickers, typically used to indicate a safe place to sit to ensure social distancing, can be found in nearly every classroom on campus. But Meyer was the first person to think of sticking one on his face.
“Yeah, I put that sticker on my face,” said Meyer. “It was fuckin hilarious.”
Meyer, a modern-day Oliver Hardy, gained notoriety for his gag when he posted a selfie on his Snapchat story. Upwards of 12 people slid up in praise of the joke.
“Yeah, I saw the picture with that sticker on his face,” said Meyer’s close friend, Justin O’Toole (CSOM ’23). “That kid is nuts, hahaha.”
Not everyone was a fan of Meyer’s antics, though. Some critics described the joke as “gratuitous at best” and “reprehensible at worst.” Others pondered whether or not it was sanitary to put a sticker that hundreds of people sit directly atop onto his face.
“I try to tune out the criticism,” said Meyer. “At the end of the day, I just want to leave the world a little happier than I found it.”
At press time, Meyer was seen eating lunch at lower with his friends.
