CHESTNUT HILL — Students at Boston College received an email from Vice President for Student Affairs Joy Moore on Monday, which sought to further clarify the university’s COVID-19 precautions and response.

Moore expressed that You, and no other person on this campus, are entirely to blame for the recent COVID-19 outbreak. In her email, Moore explained that the university’s COVID-19 response plan would have been a success had You, Yourself, not acted so selfishly, and that Your own actions specifically have put the entire community at risk.

Sources say she also name-dropped You in meetings with the mayor of Newton as well as members of the Boston City Council who reached out.

Boston City Councilor Liz Breadon seemed happy with the response she received from Moore after writing a second, mildly critical letter to Boston College officials. “Although I was concerned at first, Joy assured me that the outbreak is all because of one individual, who is You, and I believe her.”

Although not officially announced, The Classic has learned that all members of the junior and senior class were called for “random” testing this week. In an interview about these new measures, Moore again explicitly stated that you are the sole reason for them. “There’s one person at fault here. It’s not me, it’s not the administration, it’s just one person,” she told us, referring to You.

At press time, administration officials hadn’t decided what to do with You yet. However, sources close to the Office of Student Affairs say Moore is hoping to have You expelled.
