Senior “Fall Breakers” Outdo Your Fall Break Plans
PUNTA CANA — Matt Jones (CSOM ’20) and Sam Sullivan (CSOM ’20) broke out of the hiking and home visiting Fall Break norm this weekend and truly took advantage of their two full days off. The two flew down to Punta Cana this weekend to “relax on the beach with the boys.”
“What’s the point of going back to New Jersey or staying here and going apple picking when we can go to Punta freaking Cana,” said Sullivan, the planner of the trip. “Plus this is basically a pregame for the real Spring Break where everyone will be in Punta Cana.”
Sullivan and Jones reportedly will used this “pregame” to hone in their arrogance for Spring Break, where they will be able to tell others “Well since we’ve been here, we know where to go.”
Sullivan and Jones also used this trip to pay homage to Christopher Columbus—the reason the Boston College had Fall Break—who, too, “visited the Dominican Republic in the off-season.” It is assumed that they are unaware of the vast hatred for Columbus shared by the Dominicans.
By using the self-stylized name “Fall Breakers,” Sullivan and Jones told The Classic their entire plan was “to use this trip to one-up your fall break plans.”
At press time, Sullivan and Jones were seen re-booking first-class flights on their parents’ Amexs after missing their flights this morning.
