SPOOKY: Freshman Ridiculed For Not Wearing Halloween Costume On Halloween
Spooky October 31, 2022 The New England Classic
UPPER CAMPUS — After a long weekend of trying to get into Mods and getting his fake IDs taken at Circle, freshman Lame Oh (MCAS ’26) was looking forward to a low-key Monday, free from costumes, candy, and Halloween festivities. However, to his dismay, everyone on campus was dressed up for the spooky holiday.
Oh was shocked to see this many people bringing the Halloween festivities to the classrooms. He said, “I honestly did not think people would dress up for Halloween. I guess I’ve always thought of going to school in costume as a childish activity meant for kindergarteners. I didn’t think college students would do it.”
While sauntering across Gasson quad, Oh was severely ridiculed as people pointed and laughed at his sad, costumeless existence. Senior Sophia Spooky (CSOM ’23) noted, “Everyone always dresses up for Halloween classes. The more outlandish and embarrassing your costume is, the better it will be received by the public. Don’t be all uncool and skip out on wearing a costume because I’m being serious when I say EVERYONE wears costumes for Halloween classes.”
The Classic can confirm that everyone dresses up for Halloween unless you’re a lame loser who hates the idea of fun.
At press time, Oh was seen with an array of “Kick Me” signs pasted to his back as he returned to CLXF.
