MARGOT CONNELL RECREATION CENTER — Disgruntled history major, Andrew Llyod-Webber (MCAS ’21), found unanticipated success during the Career Fair this afternoon. After printing out his resume and and placing it neatly in a folder, Webber made his way from his off-campus residence to the Margot Connell Recreation Center, but did not make it all the way there.
“I was walking by Brighton Campus and I heard the sound of a tin whistle and hundreds of feet dancing,” Webber told The Classic while clutching a massive turkey leg. “I took about two steps through the trees, and found a bustling ren fair. I obviously took it as a sign from God, and decided to abandon my quest to the career fair and embark on a journey of discovery. And boy, what I have discovered.”
Sources reported that Webber is now apprenticed to a scribe after shadowing a troupe of players for a day. The players apparently were looking for someone with a little more customer facing experience and only hiring for full time positions.
When asked for comment, Webber said he was “not really feeling” a life of entertainment and that he “probably wouldn’t have even liked the people there, anyway.”
At press time, Webber was hanging out and making casual conversation by the mead cooler.
