Boston College senior Al Cohall (MCAS ‘16) celebrated this morning after his fake ID, which he ordered with old friends the second week of freshman year, finally arrived in the mail. Cohall, a native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, ordered the Connecticut driver’s license to be sent to his Keyes North room way back in the fall of 2012. He reports being told the maker was “100% reliable, bro.”

“Yeah, so my buddy down the hall told me that his friend knew a guy whose cousin’s sister’s ex-best friend’s boyfriend’s new girlfriend ordered from this dude, and that he made some quality ID’s,” said Cohall as he sat in Bapst writing his senior thesis. “I’m just really excited it finally got here so I can finally drink. Plus, it’s a Connecticut, and everyone knows those are the most legit fakes.”

After his fake ID failed to arrive on time, Cohall vowed to not have a sip of alcohol at BC until he had the prized fake ID. Three and a half years later, he has held on to that vow, never having even the slightest taste of Rubinoff or Natural Light since he placed his order. But last night, at Maryann’s, that all changed.

“I wanted to test myself, as a point of pride” said Cohall.“I mean, sure — I turned 21 last May and have had plenty of opportunities to drink since then, but it just wouldn’t have felt right. I didn’t want to spoil the fun, you know? And, also, I spent $125 on this bad boy.”

At press time, Cohall was just pissed he never got to have a weird and sweaty hookup at Arc Nightclub & Lounge.
