WALSH HALL — Sophomore Dave Mitzle (MCAS ’20) surprised his roommates earlier this week with the announcement that his best friend from high school, Nhat Welkim, will be visiting Boston College over the weekend. According to multiple unconfirmed reports, Dave took the time to repeatedly stress that his buddy is “like, a super chill guy.”

Although Welkim is notorious for being the subject of many of Dave’s shitty MHS varsity lacrosse stories, he has never visited Chestnut Hill—until now. This is likely the reason why Dave is “so fucking stoked” for his friend to be crashing on the couch for the entire weekend, even though he extended the invitation without first running the idea by any of his seven roommates.

When pressed to provide any other information about his friend apart from his level of chill (commonly referred to as “chillness”), Dave conceded that Welkim is a student at UConn, studying “math or something.” However, he also emphasized that his bro is “not some kind of nerd,” but rather a dude who is “totally down to party hard.” Welkim is also reportedly bringing his own supply of alcohol, and maybe even a little bit of dank pot, which Dave is proud to call “a pretty chill move.”

At press time, Welkim had already arrived on campus, downed half a bottle of watermelon Rubinoff, puked all over the couch, and somehow even managed to break your laptop. Yes, yours.
