ALUMNI STADIUM — With the Temple Owls in town to take on the 3–1 Eagles this weekend, head football coach Steve Addazio has reportedly reminded his team multiple times this week to “not embarrass him in front of his ex.” His ex, of course, refers to the Temple football team, which Addazio coached from 2011 to 2012. This is the first time Addazio has faced off against his former team since their split.
“Coach Addazio has been acting really odd this past week,” said quarterback Anthony Brown (LSOE ‘21). “He’s been really high-strung, and keeps telling us that we ‘have to show Temple what they lost.’ He’s even been carrying around a tiny pocket mirror to check on his mustache every half hour.”
“I don’t miss them at all, believe me when I say that. I haven’t stayed up all night thinking about my time there in like, two months, alright?” Addazio stated, despite not being pressed on the matter.
At press time, Addazio was seen laughing excessively loud at something deputy head coach Scott Loeffler said when his old offensive coordinator walked by, despite Loeffler’s statement not being funny, nor a joke.
