ALUMNI STADIUM — People consistently laud the Boston College alumni network. Some in the Greater Boston area even say that it’s the best in the world. Unfortunately, not all BC graduates are able to take advantage of that network in their attempt to enter the workforce. Many alumni are like Nome Unny (MCAS ’21), jobless and left only with their memories of what used to be.

Unny was caught Monday night lingering around Lower Campus by student Noh Zee (CSOM ’24). Naturally, Zee decided to follow him. Zee told Classic reporters, “Yeah, I mean this guy just looked stupid walking around campus with a red bandana on his briefcase, so I obviously had to see what his deal was.”

According to Zee, Unny eventually sat alone in a dark Alumni Stadium with The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside” blasting so loudly you could hear it through his headphones. “It was super strange, I thought maybe he was meeting up with an old friend here, but he was literally alone.”

A curious Zee then approached Unny. According to him, Unny thought that his good looks and alumni connections would make up for his terrible GPA and poorly thought-out major. “He started tearing up when I asked him what his job was and if he’s liking life post-grad, but then he quickly changed the subject to talk about when he and the boys won their pong tournament and impressed his BC marriage pact,” Zee said.

“Dude, those were the glory days” Unny told the Classic. “I just love coming back to campus and this stadium and being reminded of how I was the literal man in my four epic years here. Plus, I’m an alumni. My name is literally on the building, so I’m gonna reminisce whenever I want, even if that’s every weeknight.”

At press time, Unny was found texting his Walsh 8-Man group chat to plan the fire tailgate they’re going to throw in the fall.
