ResLife To Acquire Mod Igloos, Looks To House Quads

THE MODS — If wearing more layers than you thought humanly possible and getting plastered at Mod Snarties are a guilty pleasure of yours, then satisfy your beastly desires with ResLife’s newest temporary housing addition: The Mod Igloo.
Announced on Monday night, Mod Igloos will be equipped with four raised cots to house a willing quad. These cots will be preset in a circle, yet, according to ResLife, “can be rearranged in any reasonable and fire safety compliant pattern of the residents choosing!” The Igloos will also come pre-furnished with one oil lamp in the center of the den. Igloo residents, however, will have to provide their own sealskins and whale oil as well as create their own storage nooks within the igloo. In a follow-up announcement, ResLife confirmed they still prohibit candles, electric blankets, space heaters, extension cords, personal electronic equipment, honey, chairs, firearms, and premarital relations.
Although the ResLife Facilities Team claims to be removing “as much snow and shenanigans out of the lots” as a safety measure, the real reason behind the movement is to start the building of these new accommodations. These accommodations will be in the backyards of Mods 32 and 34, 36 and 38, 9 and 11, and 29, giving those who live in the igloos complete control over the aforementioned yards. Residents of those Mods are told they will be reimbursed a percentage of their housing costs due to the loss of land as meal plan dollars eligible for Arrupe donation.
Those who wish to live in the 6-foot-tall and 10-foot-wide snowy enclosures must fit ResLife’s competitive eligibility guidelines. These standards include: one (1) Student Code of Conduct Violation, two (2) completed BASICS programs, and proof of a tasteful, yet decidedly ferda setlist for future snarties.
